History meets artistic flair meets textile design.

A rare gem: the Art & Boutique Hotel "Das Ludwig" in Lindau's old town. The 15th-century building is a listed building and not very large. Perfect for a house with a very private atmosphere and a completely unique style.

Seven individually designed rooms each take a color from the specially developed color and art concept and develop the overall ambiance from it. For example, there is the "White Room," the "Grey Room," or the "Golden Room," the latter with a roof terrace and views over the old town.

Everything bears the personal signature of Alexandra Unterberger, who, as planner and interior designer, was responsible for the design of the entire house and remained true to her values in its implementation: "timeless design, high-quality materials, and short delivery routes."

THE DESIGN CONCEPT

Seven rooms, seven different concepts. What unites them is a fundamental design idea: The mood in each room is built around a central color. Colors drawn from a mineral, natural palette, softened, with a powdery touch, soft and delicate.

They unobtrusively showcase their strengths, revealing their diverse face in their implementation: Depending on the material and the lighting, the colors appear differently – bright and radiant, deep and supple, subtle or prominent.

"I based the wall colors and textiles on your wallpapers. The textiles are tactile, soft and unobtrusive, creating a harmonious overall picture.
"It was important to me to have a sustainable design concept that combines high-quality, timeless design and elegant, fine fabrics, wallpapers, and carpets with excellent regional craftsmanship."
